Start by narrowing down out how many guests are expected at the wedding, you might need this to choose what format to order. If more people show up, one person could sign for a family, if less, there might be some blank spaces at the bottom.
When you have an idea of what you would like, shoot us an email at least 1 month ahead of timeand we will create a computer mockup that includes size. At this point changes can be made. Once the mockup has been approved we will get started on producing the design. It is common that the final guest count number comes pretty close to the wedding. We can get started on the cut out and hold off on the lines until about 2-3 weeks before the event.
Ordering Process
Your certificate will come in a flat box that is 30" x 12" x 4" through FedEx ground. If you need to expedite it, you will pay the extra shipping. It usually takes about 5 business days to get to the destination depending on how far it is from Philadelphia. The price of shipping will be tacked onto your invoice, it's usually under $20.

We are not currently doing custom work to alterations to existing designs except on middle portion of the "Roots" design.
Custom Design
Even though the root of this tradition is in the Quaker ceremony, the meaning is up to you. It can be apart of any religious, non-denominational, or non-legally binding ceremony.

This is not just for first time weddings, it can be used to emphasize the importance of the vows at a vow renewal ceremony.

You cannot use our images or designs for invitations or on any other decoration for your wedding they are strictly for these certificates.
Image Usage
The color on the website is an approximation of the true color.
We can cut from any color by Canson Mi-teintes, Canford card, Fabriano Tiziano, which can be found at most art supply stores and is acid-free.
If you have a custom color or paper in mind please send an email. All paper is not suited for this and there may be an additional charge based on what kind of paper it is. Because the artwork is very busy, using a patterned paper can take away from the art.
Paper
The certificate will ship flat in a box. The certificate will require a flat surface and we suggest small weights or taping the back at an outdoor wedding. If you do not want to order pens through us, you will have to pick those up ahead of time.
The Ceremony
It is important that the certificate is not kept or hung in direct sunlight.
Framing
You will be responsible for your own framing. We recommend springing for the UV glass for the frame to keep it bright forever.
Return Policy
Mistakes happen! Because each one is custom we can not give a refund for damaged or used certificates. We may be able to do repairs if something unexpected happens at the wedding or in transit, but no promises.
